Drivers Ed

Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for ages individuals 15 to 18 in Kansas. Despite this sobering statistic, Driver’s Education was removed from the schools in the 1990’s due to budgetary cuts. At PAL, students learn smart driving skills directly from police officers through this course that is certified by the state of Kansas. Officers teach the students the basic class and road courses, and students are required to successfully pass both. Safe drivers mean safe roads for us all! To date, nearly 100 students have already successfully completed this vital course. (Kansas Residents Only).
